Our wonderful pastor grew up in our church as a child and as always had our heart! He has went through many trials and tribulations...as we all have...but never stopped loving God. We are so blessed to have him as the leader of our flock. He is married to Jennifer and they have one daughter, Kaitlyn. 

Gary Jones was the first person Sweetgum Baptist Church thought of when we began adding more and more missions to our outreach ministries. Gary has always had a special interest and love for ways to reach out to other persons and countries through missions...local and foreign. Gary also was the person who stepped up to fill in for our beloved Choir Director, Frank James, when He passed away recently. Brother Frank had been our dedicated Choir Leader for over 50 years.Thank you Gary for all you do!
